I am not a good landscape painter, but fuck it, this place is so beautiful sometimes that I can't keep it inside my head. Also: Every landscape painting from this area looks the same, we all seem to be compelled by the land to continue the tradition.

I haven't calibrated this monitor at all, so the colors might be screwy.

oh man, nicely done! i really like the colors, for what it's worth--they work really well with the layered, big strokes. the sense of depth is really awesome as well. (you do live in a pretty lovely place!)

Thanks! Depth is so easy with the obvious, vivid colors here, it's like the landscape was made for painting.
